Here are release notes for DataSeer 5.5.0.

New Feature¶

DXF File Export¶

Digitized data undergoes many forms and transformations over the course of project delivery. To help with digitization efforts and creation of digital twins, we have added DXF as a supported format for diagrams that have been processed with our standard P&ID symbol library. A drawing of symbols, connected together via piping, along with associated attributes will be generated and available for download as an .DXF file. This output format is open-source and can open with any CAD software (e.g. AutoDesk, Bentley Microstation, etc). In our first version of this DXF output feature, we only support drawing of default symbols in the P&ID library; future versions will include drawing of custom / user-defined symbols.

Enhancements¶

• Attribute Search - Added a Back to search option on the tool's review page for searches that do not return any results.

Fixes¶

• Project Management - Fixed issue that caused order of diagrams to not match the order in which the files were uploaded to DataSeer.

Upgrade Instructions¶

• DataSeer updates automatically, so no manual steps are required.
