Here are release notes for DataSeer 5.6.4.

New Feature¶

Page Locking¶

In order to better align DataSeer's in-app workflows with real world project reviews processes we have added the ability for users to "Lock" pages of their project. This function will disable the editting of the attributes of symbols contained on the locked pages and remove those pages from future data searches. This feature will allow users to employ a "forward-only" search method so previously reviewed and completed pages are not included as potential results. A complete list of functions that will be disabled with this function can be found in the feature's documentation.

Enhancments¶

Symbol Grouping¶

• Updated Group Type permissions to allow for addition of group instances comprised of differing number and type of symbols.

• Streamlined the workflow to re-lasso symbols when the user's first attempt included symbols that have already been included in a group.
• Updated the Group's table's reactive navigation so the symbol reflected in the currently selected cell will be highlighted on the diagram.

Line List¶

• Added parity to the symbol association workflow by now highlighting the active Line Number the user is associating with neighboring symbols.

Fixes¶

• Fixed issue that caused the wrong instruction to be included in the CSV Download Builder modal.
• Fixed broken link on CSV Download Builder modal.

• DataSeer updates automatically, so no manual steps are required.
